  • “Order” signifies a request for services or products made by phone or email, confirmed through payment via credit card, cash, or bank transfer.
Refund Policy

We aim to deliver high-quality services and ensure customer satisfaction. Please review our refund policy below:

No Refund on Change of Mind

Once an order is placed and work has started, no refunds will be issued due to a change of mind. Clients are advised to review all requirements carefully before confirming the order.

Before Work Begins

If a refund is requested before work has started, a full refund may be issued after deducting transaction charges.

After Work Begins

Once our team has started working on the project, refunds are not applicable. However, we will provide revisions to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Quality Concerns

If the delivered work does not meet the agreed requirements, we will:

A. Offer revisions and improvements

B. Reassign the work if needed

A partial refund may only be considered if the final delivery is significantly different from the agreed scope, after all revision options are exhausted.

Processing Fees

In all eligible refund cases, a processing fee of USD 250 or 5% (whichever is higher) will be deducted.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 15–30 working days.

Situations Exempt from Refunds

Minor technical errors, such as typographical or formatting issues, may qualify for partial refunds or future discounts as mutually agreed. Refunds will not be issued for any delays caused by the client.

Project Communication Policy

If a project lacks approval or specification feedback for 45 consecutive days, it will be marked as closed, with fees applicable to reopen.

Closed Project

A “Closed Project” is one that has been either fully delivered or left unclaimed for at least 45 days. Ocean Book House holds no responsibility beyond this period.

Copyright & Personal Use

All delivered products are original and exclusively yours upon completion. You retain full copyright of these materials, and unauthorized use of content provided by Ocean Book House may result in civil or criminal penalties. You agree to indemnify and hold Ocean Book House harmless for any unauthorized use of our content.

Anti-Plagiarism Policy

Ocean Book House strictly adheres to copyright laws, prohibiting any involvement in plagiarism or fraudulent activities. We guarantee original content that complies with all copyright standards. Ocean Book House and its affiliates are not liable for any improper or illegal use of our products, including plagiarism, legal actions, academic penalties, or disciplinary consequences resulting from misuse.

Image Usage Policy

Unless specifically created by our team, we do not own the copyright to images. We may suggest image sources for your convenience. You may use royalty-free images without issue, but copyrighted images may incur additional fees.

Refunds

At Ocean Book House, we prioritize client satisfaction and maintain a straightforward refund policy. If you request a refund before any work begins on your order, we will issue a full refund of the paid fee, minus any transaction charges. Once work on your project has started, a full refund is not possible due to the time and resources already invested.

Our products and services are provided on a non-refundable basis, with no implied warranties. However, clients are eligible for one complimentary revision. If the final quality does not meet your standards, you may request a partial refund of up to 50% of the paid fee, pending verification of the quality issues raised.

Revision Policy
Editing Orders

We will make necessary revisions to edited content to correct objective or technical errors. If no such errors remain, further revisions may be provided at our discretion.

Ghostwriting Orders

We will revise specific sections until client approval is given. Once approved, additional revisions will be subject to our editing rates.

Limitation of Liability

Ocean Book House, along with its affiliates, employees, and partners, disclaims any liability for issues arising from website use or service delivery, including technical failures, delays, or typographical errors. You agree to hold us harmless for any claims resulting from your use of our services, including attorney fees or third-party claims arising from your usage or violation of these terms.

For ghostwriting orders, revisions will continue on specific sections until approval is given. Further adjustments will be billed at standard editing rates.

In no event shall Ocean Book House be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or any information provided. Jurisdictional limitations may vary, which could affect the applicability of this limitation.

Amendments

Ocean Book House reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions as necessary. We recommend reviewing this section periodically, as any changes will be reflected here.
